LEGOLAND Update

We are happy to announce that the Legoland has been booked. We will be going to Legoland on Friday 27th July 2018. We are excited to announce that 240 of us will be going to Legoland.

We have booked four coaches for this trip. All those who have requested coach seats have been allocated a space on one of the four coaches. Children will be grouped according to their rooms. Two coaches will be leaving from Rooftop @Brook (Dalston Lane) and two coaches from Rooftop @ Ottaway.

To find out which coach you will be on, refer to the seating plan on the room doors.
We will be leaving from the nursery on Friday 27th July at 8.30am sharp. Therefore, all parents and children must be on site by 8.15am at the latest. We will be departing from Legoland at 4pm.

The coaches will depart at the stated times so please be prompt to avoid disappointment.

To avoid confusion on the day, we advise the following:

• Please store Hafiza's mobile number on your phone for enquires/in case of emergencies: 07930 380 443

• If you have booked a coach seat, please be outside the nursery by 8.15am.

• If you are making your own way, please be at the Legoland main entrance by 9.30am / 10.00am to avoid

  issues with entry as we have arranged a group booking.

• Please bring a packed lunch.

• Glass bottles are not permitted for packed lunches for health and safety reasons.

• Please bring essentials such as sun cream, sun hats or a thin raincoat/ umbrella depending on the weather.

• Please bring spare clothing, nappies and wipes if necessary.

• Car seats: The coach company has no policy regarding car seats/ booster seats so as a precautionary measure

  we would advise parents to bring a car/ booster seats for all children under the age of one. If you have a new

  born baby or a small baby you may be allowed to hold them in your arm during the journey.

• Ensure your phones are fully charged.

• Please ensure your child has used the toilet before boarding the coach.

• We are hoping to meet up for lunch between 12.30- 1.30pm in the KINGDOM OF THE PHARAOHS picnic area.

  Unfortunately we cannot reserve the picnic areas so If there are no spaces available in this picnic area, please bear in mind there are many other picnic areas around Legoland. For directions, please pick up a map of Legoland on your way in or have a look on their map on their website. We advise everyone to visit Legoland's website, download the map or pick up a map to plan your way around the park and make the most of your trip.

• If you wish to leave the park and return the same day, at no charge, please have your hand stamped at the entrance turnstiles. Failure to obtain a handstamp will result in you not being re-admitted.

• Coaches will have buggy storage so feel free to bring buggies if necessary.

• For health and safety reasons we advise all parents and carer's to remain seated for the duration of the

  journey.

• We cannot take responsibility for lost of personal belongings i.e. Mobile phones. Cameras, toys, buggies, bags etc... please ensure you take all your belongings with you when departing from the coach.

• Please supervise your children, take particular care when boarding /departing from the coach as the coach will be parked on main roads.

• At 4pm, please meet near the exit as the coach will depart at 4.30pm. 

Risk assessment:

• Children must be supervised at all times- staff are not responsible for children on the day

• Keep away from electric fences

• It is your responsibility to ensure you are on time to avoid missing the coaches

• Please ensure children are supervised on rides

• A risk assessment is displayed on each room door for your information. Please take a moment to read through this. Copies are available upon request. A copy will also be available on each coach.

08:15 - Coach passengers ready to board the coach outside the nursery 08:30 - Coach departs from nursery
10:15 - Estimated arrival time
12.30 - 1.30 - Lunch in kingdom of the Pharaohs

16:00 - Everyone to meet near the exit
16:30 - Coach will depart from Legoland 18:00/18.30 - Estimated arrival at the nursery
