Highly Qualified Staff work at Roof Top Nursery
At present we have 18 qualified members of staff working at Roof Top Nursery. All staff hold relevant qualifications in order to provide a high quality care and education for young children. Four of these staff hold a degree level and one of these staff is a qualified Early Years Teacher.

At Roof Top Nursery, we believe in giving the best service to our parents, staff and children. Our dynamic team work very hard daily to ensure all standards of care, education and service is at a very high quality. Through the management’s team using a rigorous and consistent process, which monitors and evaluates all areas of improvements within our nursery. This is also achieved by working closely with the rest of the staff team and having a two way communication and regular feedback from our parents.
We believe the key in achieving a high quality childcare and education is through a continuous professional development of all are staff.
Our nursery cooks are all qualified in food and Hygiene by approved training providers. Each child dietary consideration and requirement are adhered at all times throughout the day. Our meals are healthy and well balanced with dishes that reflect the wider community.
The nursery is registered with the Eat better and start better programme which supports healthy and well balanced meals throughout the day.

Star Room Staff
All the children in our room are aged between 3 years and 5 years
Our highly trained practitioners support your child prepare for the transition to school through working with them towards the early learning goals which they are expected to have attained by the end of their reception year.
Also through developing your child’s confidence in learning as an individual, and as part of a learning community, your child will be ready for the challenges that they will encounter at school and in their day to day life.
All children in our room are aged between 2 years and 3 years old
Through engaging in critical thinking partnerships with your child, our practitioners stimulate your child to question what they are doing and why in every situation. Staff are ready to support you child through this very critical age by supporting them to share, understand about boundaries to behaviour and extend their language skills through language groups , stories and role play.
All children in our room are aged between 6 months and 2 years.
Within this room, children are encouraged to be more autonomous in directing their own learning, selecting activities from the many we have on offer.
Their learning needs are understood by our pro-active practitioners, who support children’s learning with a number of planned activities, ensuring that each child reaches their fullest potential and that every child’s care needs are met throughout the day
